Or how about this for the body?

“A tumor where nine holes abide

Wrapped in a coat of clammy hide

And trickling filth on every side,

Polluting the air with stenches far and wide.”

Even knowing these things to be true, my wisdom trails my intellectual understanding. I can only hope that by continuously reminding myself of these truths the seeds of pañña will take root.
