Parami Practice in Daily Life

- Dāna: Give once a day.
- Sīla: Hold to precepts at the pain of death. Review one’s precepts at the end of every day.
- Nekkhama: Fast every day; sacrifice anything that someone else expresses an interest in.
- Pañña: Reflect on the Tilakkhana and Cattari Ariya Saccani.
- Viriya: Push yourself to meditate for five more minutes when you’re done.
- Khanti: Accept whatever is happening and be willing for it to last the rest of your life.
- Saccā: Recite Ratana Sutta.
- Adhiṭṭhāna: Uphold vows and commitments no matter what.
- Mettā: Practice metta bhavana once a day and anytime you’re walking through crowds.
- Upekkhā: Recall that I am the owner of my kamma and all that happens to me is a result of it.
